Clear and Accessible Introduction to the Bible

I read Can I Really Trust the Bible? by Barry Cooper and found it a clear and accessible introduction to the trustworthiness of Scripture. The book is structured around three main questions: Does the Bible claim to be God’s word? Does it seem to be God’s word? Does it prove to be God’s word? This makes it very easy to follow, and Cooper maps out the key arguments in a concise and understandable way. It’s a short book, so it can’t cover everything on such a big topic, but it does a good job giving an overview of what you’d need to think about if you want to explore the reliability of the Bible. I also liked that it encourages readers to actually read and experience the Bible for themselves. Overall, it’s a helpful book for new believers, people exploring Christianity, or anyone wanting an introductory look at why we can trust the Bible.
