Do You Pray? challenges all Christians in a day when prayer meetings are in decline and personal serious prayer is increasingly rare. Ryle's approach is simple and straightforward and easily understood by both young and old. This edition is lightly edited and updated into modern English.

John Charles Ryle (1816-1900), the first Anglican bishop of Liverpool, was a prolific writer, vigorous preacher, faithful pastor, husband and father. He was thoroughly evangelical in his doctrine and uncompromising in his Biblical principles. His books have stood the test of time as they bear the stamp of eternity.

Worth a read

A small book with a big punch. I highly recommend this book if you've ever thought your prayer life could be improved (and even more if you haven't!)

Challenging Thoughts on Prayer

This is a great book to consider the importance of prayer. It is a really challenging read which reflects on why prayer time really matters. Ryle encourages us to think about how we view prayer, and reminds us that 'time given to God is never time wasted'. I would highly recommend for anyone who struggles to find time for prayer or forgets just how important it really is.
