S. D. Smith is the author of The Green Ember Series, a beloved children’s adventure saga. When he’s not crafting stories in his writing shed—affectionately called The Forge—he enjoys speaking to audiences about the power of storytelling, the wonder of creation, and embracing our role as characters in God’s Story.
He is a founder and co-owner of Story Warren, a publishing, events, and IP development company based in rural West Virginia, dedicated to serving families as “allies in imagination.”
S. D. Smith lives in Grandview, West Virginia, with his wife and their four children.
